Guide for Authors

Structure of Articles

  1. The title of the article should be brief, clear and fully descriptive of the research topic and consisting of maximum 15 words.
  2. The full details of the author(s), mentioning the corresponding author, should be included on the first page without mentioning the page number, and the first and last name of author(s) along with their academic profile and organizational affiliation and their e-mail address should be specified. (The corresponding author of the article is to be distinguished from other authors with the Asterisk mark (*).)
  3. The article should be written in Persian and in compliance with the principles and rules of writing.
  4. The article should be typed in Nazanin font size 13, with 20 lines per page, not exceeding 20 pages of A4 format and sent as a Word file. (Word count limit: min. 4000 to max. 8000 words)
  5. The submitted article should have a title, abstract and keywords (Persian and English separately), introduction, research method, research background, research body (including discussion, analysis and findings), conclusion, in-text citation, sources and references.
  6. The abstract should be in one paragraph (max. 300 words) respectively including: the statement of the issue, the objectives and main questions of the research, method of research, procedure of collecting information, method of analysis, conclusion of the research, and key words. In addition, the English abstract should also correspond to the Persian text and be a maximum of 800 words (with respect to the difference in the number of words compared to Persian).
  7. Keywords should be max. six words in alphabetical order.
  8. The introduction respectively includes: a more detailed description of the research issue, objectives, necessity and importance of the research and it should be written independently by the authors without references.
  9. After the introduction, the research method should respectively include: research method, data collection procedure, data collection tools, statistical population, number of samples under investigation, sampling method, data analysis method.
  10. The research background is required for all articles and the difference between the research of the submitted article and the research of others should be clearly stated by mentioning the specifications of the mentioned sources:
  1. Include details of the article: name of the author(s), title of the article, name of the journal, number and volume of the journal
  2. Include details of the master's thesis/doctoral dissertation: student's name, title, name of the research guide, university name, level of study and year of thesis defense.
  3. Include book details: book title, author(s) name, year of publication
  1. The conclusion should be logical and well-reasoned and clarify the discussion and findings, especially the answer to the main questions of the article.
  2. All images must have a resolution of 300 dpi, jpg format and an appropriate quality with serial numbering, explanation and reference under the images. The location of the pictures should be specified by mentioning the number in the text.
  3. All tables and diagrams should be serially numbered and arranged by mentioning their specifications and sources at the top of the table or diagram. The table number should be in the text.
  4. The sources should be arranged according to the style guide of the American Psychological Association (APA) in Farsi with the title "Methods of in-text citation in the second chapter of the book: Citation methods in scholarly writings, international guidelines" by the authors Abbas Horri and Azam Shahbodaghi (pages 147 to 215). click here.
  5. The list of sources and references is arranged in alphabetical order
  6. The order of the article content in the Word file should be as follows: first, English title, authors' organizational details, English abstract, English keywords; then, on the next page, respectively: Persian title, authors' organizational details in Persian, Persian abstract, Persian keywords, text of the article, Persian sources, English references by mentioning the English term "References" in the title.
  7. Non-Persian equivalents of uncommon terms and concepts should be mentioned or explained in the footnote of the same page.
  8. The total number of figures, photos, diagrams and tables should not exceed 20.
